Week FOUR

Welcome WEEK 4...WE are approaching the half way mark for this challenge and I hope that you are learning something on this journey!

I see transformations happening! I see TEAMwork! I see smiling faces! I see people embracing the HEALTHY life and looking forward to the next week’s challenge! I am so proud of everyone and you should be proud of yourself too!

Each week we have experimented with new ideas, new fitness goals, nutrition habits, and opportunities to be a better YOU! I hope that now that we are almost half way there you have embraced some of these new habits and incorporated them into your new lifestyle!

I find myself not going to bed until I get about 10,000 steps. I see work friends dragging each other up the stairs! I see people taking extra steps to get to locations. I see people sharing water, recipes, and snacks. I see people AVOIDING the donuts and sweet treats!! I hear conversations around what they are doing, learning, eating. It is AMAZING! Keep pressing on…take it to the NEXT LEVEL! Incorporate the small tests of change that you have been working on each week into your daily routine…just for the HEALTH of it!

Minutes of Movement

This should be an easy task this week!  You have mastered the steps.  You have climbed those stairs.  You have tried some new fitness routines.  NOW you just need to extend it and try to achieve 30-40-60 minutes EVERYDAY this week!
Walk to work and back to your car.  Walk around an extra block.  Climb another flight of stairs.  Add an extra mile.  Take an extra class.  Walk before and after.  The minutes will add up!
The idea is to KEEP moving!  Be FIT! Be ACTIVE! Results will be great!

Eliminate DAIRY

Oh, this is exactly what WISCONSIN people don’t like to hear! 

Did you know when they decided to make skim milk…they took that milk fat and had so much they then produced an abundance of cheese?!  Which is FAR WORSE?!
